Hi! I’m Beth Cortes, owner of Deaf Blonde Designs online boutique. Like many of our customers, I’m more than just a business owner, I’m a wife and mother with a blended family. My husband and I jointly claim a crew of seven amazing adults navigating their way in the world. Having spent several years at home raising our family, I decided to move into a business that mixed my love of traveling and fashion. I’m not a big fan of generic indoor mall shopping but give me a small beachside boutique, or market and I’m in heaven.

Before my children were born, I co-owned a t-shirt shop where I enjoyed the customers and design creativity. The general concept for Deaf Blonde Designs was born by mixing comfortable casual women’s wear that travels easily and fun T-shirt designs. The name Deaf Blonde Designs stems from being profoundly deaf and relying on the use of bilateral cochlear implants. I’ve always believed that you should never let a difference like that stand in your way.

Deaf Blonde Designs offers a one-of-a-kind shopping experience that provides inclusive sizing and styles based in Texas. I am always on the lookout for new fashion trends and updating styles accordingly. One thing you can count on to stay consistent is the comfort and wearability of our garments. Styles and trends come and go but the ease of wear is very important to me. I won’t put things in my shop that I wouldn’t personally wear or recommend to a friend.
